Arjen en Henk founded “Vereniging Modern Gestoord” in 1988 as their platform for releasing the music of S.N.E.E.K., early 2005 ON-Mix Media was born out of a loose remark and the persistance of Mike Möring when he was talking to Henk. Soon Arjen joined the ON-Mix platform and their own label is a fact.

Now ON-Mix Media is a Netlabel. Providing a platform for those artists that want to be heard (and downloaded…).

a bit of hysteria…

During the 80s of the last century Arjen & Henk founded S.N.E.E.K. (Streven Naar Een Echt Kunstwerk). They released two CD’s entitled: “Iets Anders Graag (Something Else Please)” and “Words From The Front”. There are also pieces of work that never saw the light of the day until recently; “Secrets of a 3rd Dimension” and numerous tape sessions.This dynamic and creative duo also managed to release two short 8mm films: “The Film” and “What Is A Chick Without Lipstick?”.

During the 80s Mike played bass guitar in several funk bands before he transferred himself into Y-Me. Touring the UK as EyE-C and ending up as Ekim in the 90s

Over the years they have worked together on several occassions, but have followed their own musical path in live.

Kicking of early 2005 with ON-Mix Media they have been able to release several albums within a short timespan. During the summer of 2005 they decided that they would transfer ON-Mix Media into a netlabel!

They have also put the back-catalogue of “Vereniging Modern Gestoord” , “Peek-A-Boo productions” and “Seven Oaks Recordings” in On-Mix Media.
