This Notorious Twins’ 5th release: Electro Works vol.2
An EP with 4 tracks. A result of numerous recording sessions during the period 2005 – 2009.
Although it’s quite a timespan, the tracks have alltogether a coherent sound.

The music is electro based.
The song that kicks off the EP, Block Land, is more disco based than most of the tracks in this series of 4 EP’s. A typical 80s drum with a detuned bass, layers of pads and sparse percussion make this a Notorious Twins trademark.
Retrofit is a song where the guys have tried to capture the electro sounds of the past, to create a new song which they did.
The third song is a firm favourite of the guys. Disco 2 Disco is a track where the ages of disco pop up again. Leaning on a heavy drum and bass combination with use of a vocoder and some synths, tweaked and detuned.
The last song on this EP is a demo track. It shows how sounds and ideas come together, eventually to end up into something you could call a song. Obviously not finished, but captured during recording sessions with Boy In Trouble.

This is number two is a series of 4.

All tracks are written, played and produced by the Notorious Twins.

This Notorious Twins’ 4th release: Electro Works vol.1
An EP with 4 tracks. A result of numerous recording sessions during the period 2005 – 2009.
Although it’s quite a timespan, the tracks have alltogether a coherent sound.

The music is electro based.
Hints of nostalgia drift by like a morning haze on the first track. Firmly grounded somewhere in the 80s, yet with a modern feel.
The second one, Sound Factory, is more uptempo and has a repetitive character.
Bleep Hop, the third track, is more vocal oriented. It almost sounds like a tennisplay between the vocals and the music. Soothing acid sounds give it its edge.
They finish with the track Smooth Circuitry, a mid-tempo song. A steady beat with synth patterns and acid loops.

This is number one is a series of 4.

Dharmatec was born in June 2008 when singer and composer Sol Taranto, after recording solo material, embarked on a new project with musician and composer Leonardo Canizzo. Even though she utilized electronic music as an intense part of her solo project, both of them creates an interesting fusion between aesthetic and sound of electronic music itself, achieving an excellent artistic level that invites to the sounds of Trance, Psycho and Progressive House, among others.

On January 2009 Dharmatec record their first homonym album, along with the prestigious music and producer Marcelo Del Paggio, and the EP “Justify my sin”, a shorter digital version of the album.

They are currently scheduling their tour dates in the circuit dance of Buenos Aires and planning future concerts in several cities from Europe since April 2010.

Electronic like a religion

Space atmospheres, ethereal energy, the first Dharmatec’s album develops a catalog of eleven tracks to meticulous ears, inviting you to dance and enjoy! In this sea of beats blend electronic music, melodies, Sol whispering, screaming, singing and Leo playing sound effects between machines and synthesizers.
